Bacteria like to grow on sprouts since they often harbor moisture, and some of these bacteria can be harmful, such as E. Coli. To be extra cautious and avoid the consequences of an E. Coli or Salmonella infection, skip this addition to your stir-fry or Pad Thai for the duration of your pregnancy.
